I’m a West Midlands-based fine art portrait photographer, and I shoot detailed black and white Big Head style portraits.

We are all completely unique, shaped by our own personal journey, and the face has been described as acting as a road map of a person’s life, a record of experiences. With this in mind, I’m always trying to tell a story with every individual detail… to celebrate every precious line, hair and furrow… so as to make an intimate portrait of my sitter at that moment in time, and a signpost as to what their life story may have been.

An image that points out the extraordinary and appreciates each subject as singular and rare. One that conveys an essence of who they are, and the unique life that they have lived.
